Discover Different Local Perspectives Concerning Lake Worth Lagoon During This Photo Exhibit
Palm Beach County’s Department of Environmental Resources Management is proud to present the Perspectives of Lake Worth Lagoon exhibit. This exhibit features the twelve photos that were selected to be a part of the 2020 Lake Worth Lagoon Calendar. The photos capture a unique variety of wildlife, marine life and landscapes that can be found throughout the Lake Worth Lagoon.
The venue, Manatee Lagoon, is one of Palm Beach County’s fun and engaging family-friendly attractions, with interactive, entertaining exhibits that tickle your curiosity about the environment of the Lake Worth Lagoon and the wonderful world of manatees. Visitors share an experience the whole family can enjoy.
As for the host of the exhibit, it is the goal of the Palm Beach County’s Department of Environmental Resources Management to administer a range of environmental programs designed to protect, preserve, and enhance Palm Beach County’s natural resources— both on land and water.
Fresh drinking water, unpolluted waterways, a large tree canopy, and controlling mosquito populations provide a welcoming outdoor tropical experience to snorkel and dive, visit sandy beaches, fresh or saltwater fish, kayak waterways, hike in the woods— all while viewing wildlife in their natural habitat. From Lake Okeechobee to the Atlantic Ocean, the department’s programs cover the county.
General admission is free. For more information, contact Manatee Lagoon at (561) 626-2833.
