Are You Ready for a Cultural Daytrip Like No Other? Check Out Taste History!

Taste History is a fun foodcentric cultural daytrip that incorporates a rotation of cuisine tastings representing varied cultures. Taste History combines history, culture and cuisine therefore this gastronomy tour infuses food tastings with the history of the local area along with rotational visits to emerging cultural districts, historic buildings or art shops.

Taste History is a fun and engaging 3 to 4-hour foodcentric narrated excursion of bus riding that may include 4 to 6 blocks of walking through historic districts for alternate visits to eateries, bakeries, cafes, juice bars and markets for food history, food culture facts, foodways information and food tastings. At least three to four local and family-owned eateries offering more than a dozen tastings are visited.

Taste History is sponsored, in part, by Macy’s. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Additional support for Taste History has been received from bequests from the late Patricia Ann Ravo and the late Boris & Edith Rueger.

Admission is $51 per person and free for children under the age of 14. Children age 14 and over must pay regular price. Children must be accompanied by a paid adult family member.
